Renovation work for new rental factory

MSM ( Micron Storage Media ) Ltd. (Wholly owned subsidiaries by EastGate group-Singapore)Given 45 days to up and run the DVD-R production in a new 3500 SQ.M factory rented from TICON. The whole renovation work covered a wide range of aspects ; starting from details design to construction for clean room type air conditioning system, electrical work, self leveling epoxy floor, ceiling and partition work and including utility building , road work , as well as all office interior work . Working closely with Mr.Thomas Tan, project manager from EastGate, we successfully completed the job to MSM's satisfaction on time.
Altum precision(Thailand) Co.,Ltd (Wholly owned by Engtek group Malaysia) The project of Altum is slightly different but by all means more challenging. We were given 30 days to finish renovation work for the new factory rented from TICON and another 3 days to transfer production line from existing plant to the new one. The schedule is already tight, however like other renovation work. More pressure come from the transferring part as we had to ensure no interruption of existing operation under no circumstance during transferring period. Working under the instruction of Mr.Chua, Assistant General Manager of Altum, we successfully perform the project in a timely and again satisfactory manner.

Design & built
Most of the new factory construction projects always found that at the end of the construction period, the clients have paid much more than what they really needed. Not included the complaints from the users about the electrical system that does not match their requirements. The lack of understanding the industrial enviroment (Real demand factor of machine, specific electrical requirement in particular industry, etc) together with the cooperation between electrical designer and the users are the main reasons behind the unsatisfied electrical works.
Hitachi-Bangkok Cable new factory, located at Singburi province and the first manufacturer of opticle fiber cable in Thailand has selected SPEC for the design&built electrical contractor. We worked closely with Mr.Theerawat, deputy managing director of HBC and Mr.Kato, Project manager of HBC from gathering the electrical requirement of each machine, lighting requirement in different areas and came out with design drawings, project implementation plan and the related plan. During the implementation period, we still worked closely with the HBC project team to ensure the system that really meet the user'srequirements and we eventually have finished the project ontime and in budget with the customer satisfaction.
